Earthquake Resilience Report

The Konforist Girl Student Dormitory, constructed in 2014 in accordance with the projects approved by the Eyüpsultan Municipality Directorate of Zoning, was completed using top-quality materials for both rough and fine construction phases. It was opened for occupancy in the same year after obtaining a usage permit. Every stage of the construction was inspected and approved by the building inspection firm. It has been documented that higher-grade materials than required were used in the concrete and steel samples.

Our dormitories were built in compliance with the earthquake regulation standards of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.

Our dormitories meet the static criteria specified in the latest 2018 earthquake regulation.

To ensure the highest level of earthquake safety before construction, a foundation system suited to the soil characteristics was designed based on a ground project approved by geological engineers, including a subsoil piling system.

The soil on which the building stands belongs to the ZC group and is geologically favorable and structurally suitable for building construction.

Although our construction was completed in 2014, it was verified in 2024 through a durability test required by the Ministry of Youth and Sports for all student dormitories. The test confirmed that the dormitory was constructed in compliance with the latest earthquake regulation, the 2018 earthquake regulation. This compliance was reported by an independent durability assessment firm.

We wish all our guests a peaceful and secure stay.
